Congratulations to our very own Parlier High School senior, Nayeli Ignacio Reyes who won the Parlier Lions Club Zone Student Speaker competition last night! She competed with Katarina Davies from Fowler High School. Both students did great, but Nayeli took 1st place and earned a $150 cash prize. She will now move on to the next level of competition at the Region level. The Region contest will take place on Saturday, April 10th in Cutler-Orosi. We are very proud of Nayeli and wish her the best of luck as she continues to move forward in this competition.

¡Felicitaciones a nuestra estudiante del duodécimo grado de la escuela preparatoria de Parlier (PHS), Nayeli Ignacio Reyes, quien ganó el concurso de oradores estudiantiles de Parlier Lions Club anoche! Compitió con Katarina Davies de la escuela preparatoria de Fowler. Ambos estudiantes lo hicieron muy bien, pero Nayeli obtuvo el primer lugar y ganó un premio en efectivo de $150. Ahora pasará al siguiente nivel de competencia a nivel de Región. El concurso de la Región se llevará a cabo el sábado 10 de abril en Cutler-Orosi. Estamos muy orgullosos de Nayeli y le deseamos la mejor de las suertes mientras sigue avanzando en esta competencia.
